TRAVEL CONSULTANT
Location: Cluj-Napoca
As a Travel Consultant at Paloma Tours you will be in charge with:
- Research for hotels, and destinations with best rate price – services, according to client`s specifications.
- Prepare the offer (budget and description for services included).
- Book accommodation, flight tickets and ground transportation.
- Set-up all travel documents (vouchers, boarding pass, and more).
- Pay attendance fee for Trade Shows , medical congresses and more.
- Direct contact with the client.
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
- Share feedback with the team for experienced services related to hotels, clients, and other providers.
- Plan and promote new travel services and event concept.
- Your creativity will be developed during the creation of our clients’ travel programs.
You are the right person for us if you:
- Enjoy using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power-Point, etc.) at a medium-advanced level.
- Have exemplary sales skills and customer oriented approach.
- Maintain event budgets.
- Have availability for attending live events all over the country and abroad
- Manage all event set-up.
- Are well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Research opportunities for new clients and events.
- Are interested to get experience in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc).
- Enjoy continually researching the new hotels & resorts all over the country and abroad.
- Are enthusiastic, punctual, team player.
- Are willing to discover the field on the move.
- Demonstrate ability to handle crises.

EVENTS COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:
- Create detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, and budgets).
- Collaborate with various internal teams, source vendors, review RFPs and lead overall event tech strategy.
- Book venues, schedule guests, draft and finalize contracts, and lock down day-of logistics.
- Manage all pre-event planning, organizing guest speakers and delegate packs.
- Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries to ensure that all runs smoothly and accordingly to budget.
- Availability for attending live events all over the country.
Skills and qualifications:
- Experience in event planning or event coordination in a corporate environment, is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, negotiating, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
