Dear friends and colleagues,

It is with great excitement that I write to you about the upcoming 12th European Speech and Language Therapy Congress, set to take place in September 2024. Despite the challenges that we all faced in the past few years, the team behind the congress has continued to work tirelessly to deliver an exciting and engaging program that reflects the needs of the speech and language therapy community.

As the first congress under the new brand of our organization, ESLA, the European Speech and Language Therapy Association, this event represents a new chapter in the history of our profession. Through ESLA, we aim to strengthen our voice and increase visibility, promoting the vital role that speech and language therapists play in improving the lives of individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

As we gather in Brussels, I am confident that our congress will be a truly special event, one that will inspire and motivate us as we continue to serve our communities and advance the field of speech and language therapy.
